The visual above breaks down your Medicare choices to it's simplest form. You can set up a primary/secondary program where Original Medicare coordinates benefits with a secondary insurance in the form of a Medicare Supplement or Medigap as it is sometimes called. This option provides coverage with no network restrictions. It does not include prescription drug coverage, which may be secured in a separate Prescription Drug Plan (PDP). A Medicare Advantage Plan, which offers coverage options with or without a PDP, provides in-network coverage that may require a copay at time of service. Both programs require enrollment in Part B, which has a premium paid to Medicare.
Please give me a call to find out more details. I'm a broker so I represent several carriers and will help you choose the right program and I'll promise to review your coverage every single year during the Annual Enrollment Period from October 15th to December 7th.
